This is officially the first gift I bought for you.  It’s a wooden crayon holder, fashioned to resemble a tattoo machine.  We don’t even know if you’re a boy or a girl yet but it doesn’t matter to me, you’re going to be taught about tattoos and the history of tattoos from a young age.  Some of your mommy and daddy’s best friends are covered and some of them are tattoo artists themselves.  The life and culture are important to us and we plan on teaching you about it too.

Step 1 is respect your elders and their traditions

Step 2 is think first, speak second

if you start with these two steps you’ll be starting in the right direction.
